St. Peter Parish offers a broad range of ministries, apostolates and organizations to help parishioners to expand their faith by better understanding the mysteries of God's revelation and its influence in their lives. PRAYER
In writing to the Corinthians, St. Paul reminded these first Christians, “we are God’s fellow workers” (1 Cor 3:9). There are many things that are needed in our broken world, but few if any are more desperately needed than prayer, because when prayers go up graces come down. It is the prayer of Jesus that makes our prayers powerful, because he prays in us and with us.
Those involved in prayer ministries at St. Peter lift up the needs of our parish family to the Father in the Son and through the Holy Spirit. No wonder the Catechism makes the words of St. John Chrysostom its own: “Nothing is equal to prayer; for what is impossible it makes possible, what is difficult, easy.”

PARISH SERVICE
St. Paul describes the Church as the Body of Christ with different functions all of which contribute to the welfare of the whole. The members of St. Peter parish are profoundly grateful to all those who share their gifts for everyone’s benefits.
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one … For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ … Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it” (1 Cor 12:4-6, 12, 27).

PASTORAL CARE
The authentic love for God is so essentially connected with the love for others that Jesus said: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (Jn13: 34-35). Therefore caring for those in need is a vital and privileged ministry of St. Peter Parish.

Embrace will strive, with the help of St. Catherine of Siena, and Our Lady of Sorrows to provide for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those in mourning as they seek a measure of healing. Please call the Parish Office for more information about this apostolate.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
''Then the King will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me” (Mt 25:34-36).
