What is the RCIA?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process for initiation into the Catholic Church. It is a restoration of the Catechumenate which was part of the early church in the fourth century.
Who is the RCIA for?
- Persons interested in preparing for Baptism
- Persons baptized in a Christian denomination and interested in becoming Catholic
- Catholics in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation
