On Sunday, May 8th at the 9:30 am Mass, all children are invited to bring fresh flowers to present to Our Lady. First Communion children will lead the opening procession as we crown Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth.

Divine Mercy Sunday, April 24, 2022: In addition to our regularly scheduled Masses of 8 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am, and 5 pm, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 2:30 pm and Benediction at 4:30 pm. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed at 3 pm, 3:30 pm, and 4 pm. Confessions will be heard from 3 pm to 4:50 pm.
The Divine Mercy Novena begins Good Friday, April 15. Pamphlets are in the back of church and by the Divine Mercy painting. The Novena is available on the St. Peter App under the Prayer tab / Prayer Library / Novenas / Novena to Divine Mercy
On Good Friday, April 15, there will be Stations of the Cross set up on 2 routes in Covington, one on the east side of Tyler St. and one on the west side of Tyler St. Various houses will be presenting a station and will be set up from 8a-5p for you to walk or bike. Maps are available to download on the Lenten page of the parish website. Maps are also in the back of church with a QR code to use your phone and access the maps.
The St. Peter Knights of Columbus will be presenting a Fraternal Benefits Night on Tuesday, April 12 in St. Mary's Hall at 6:30 pm, prior to the General Meeting. The guest speaker will be Field Agent David Barnes. This event is open to the public and the topic will be Long Term Care. A light meal will be served.
The next Garden Work Day will be Saturday, April 30. Come help beautify the St. Peter campus now that Spring has sprung! Meet in front of church after 8:30 am Mass. Bring your own gloves and small tools. Refreshments provided.

St. Peter Parish will host a food drive March 19th and 20th to benefit the Northshore Food Bank. Food collection bags will be distributed after all Masses the weekend of March 12th and 13th. Nonperishable food items please, cans, bags, boxes, no glass. Thank you for your generosity!

The Archdiocesan Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebration will take place Sunday, June 26th at 3 pm at St. Philip Neri Church in Metairie. This will be a prayer service, not a Mass. Couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in 2022 are invited to register through the Parish Office no later than Thursday, March 10th in person or by phone at 985-892-2422.
