A PRAYER AFFIRMING LIFE
God, you are the Lord and Creator of Life.
You have blessed men and women
With the privilege
Of bringing new life
Into the world.
You have imparted in our hearts
The desire to nurture and protect life
At all its stages.
I accept these gifts as a sacred trust.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit
Help me to affirm the value of life.
Grant me the wisdom and courage
To speak out and defend human life.
Give me compassion
So that I may lovingly counsel
Those who would reject the gift of life,
Which is the reflection
Of Your image and likeness.
Amen.
A CHRISTMAS DAY PRAYER
Praise to You, Lord God!
You have become one of us -- You have become a human being, while still retaining all your power and holiness as God!
You, O Lord, made the journey of the unborn child. By being an embryo, a fetus, and a newborn, you joined all unborn and newborn children to you!
From the beginning of history, O Lord, You were the Creator of every human life. Now, with Christmas, You join Yourself in an unthinkable way with the life You created.
Let this Christmas, O God, fill all of us with awe and wonder at how close human life is to You. Cleanse the world of all that tarnishes and rejects this gift. Purify our hearts of all that fears this gift.
Let our Christmas joy be the joy of welcoming every human life! Amen!PRAYER TO MARY, 
MOTHER OF LIFE WITHIN
O Mary, Mother of the Life Within,
all life we entrust to you;
The life of every expectant mother
and the child within her womb:
The life of every human body,
the life of every human soul;
The life of every newborn child
and the life of all grown old.
You held the Lord to your own heart
and drew Him so close in.
So draw us now in all our needs,
O Mother of the Life Within.

NOVENA PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
Oh Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of Life,
We honor you as Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Thank you for pointing us to Jesus your Son,
The only Savior and hope of the world.
Renew our hope in him,
That we all may have the courage to say Yes to life,
And to defend those children in danger of abortion.
Give us your compassion
To reach out to those tempted to abort,
And to those suffering from a past abortion.
Lead us to the day when abortion
Will be a sad, past chapter in our history.
Keep us close to Jesus, the Life of the World,
Who is Lord forever and ever. Amen.
PENTECOST NOVENA FOR LIFE
In the days leading up to Pentecost,
the disciples prayed for the coming of the Holy Spirit.
We too pray for his coming,
and for his power that renews the face of the earth
and brings about the victory of life.
Holy Spirit, At the dawn of creation, You brought order out of chaos, Light out of darkness, Life out of nothingness. Breathe on us once again, And change this culture of death Into a Culture of Life. Inspire in your people A spirit of generous welcome For each and every life, No matter how unexpected or dependent That life may be. Holy Spirit, You are the Advocate. As you fill us with Yourself, Make us advocates For the unborn and all the vulnerable, Until we are all united In the endless life and joy of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever. Amen.
